Meteoria AI Visibility Tool Review: Features, Pricing and Citations

If you searched "meteoria ai visibility tool features pricing", here is the summary. Meteoria is a French generative engine optimization (GEO) platform that asks your prompts in AI assistants every day and reports how often your brand appears, its average position, the sentiment of the answer and the sources used. On the pricing published on its homepage on October 15, 2026, plans start at €75 a month for 25 daily prompts, and every plan tracks three engines that you pick from a list of seven.
This is a comparison of public specifications, not a performance benchmark. Meteoria's details come from its own English and French homepages, feature pages, public feature book and API documentation; where we add professional judgement, we say so. Prime AI Visibility, which publishes this site, is evaluated beside Meteoria on the same criteria, with its own limitations.
Meteoria AI visibility tool features pricing: the short answer
- What it measures: visibility rate, average position, sentiment, the share of answers whose sources mention you, and the share that use your own content as a source.
- Cadence: daily. The homepage FAQ says answers are analyzed every day.
- Engines: three per plan, chosen from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overview, Gemini, Grok, Google AI Mode and Microsoft Copilot. Other models cost extra. Claude is not in the list yet; the FAQ says Claude and Meta AI will be added gradually.
- Pricing: Starter €75/month (25 daily prompts), Pro €175/month (100), Advanced €420/month (300) and a custom top tier. Annual commitments get two months free.
- Trial: the FAQ offers a free trial with all functions for one week.
- Best fit, in our judgement: agencies and multi-brand teams that want a high volume of daily answers, unlimited seats and a Google Analytics or Matomo connection, and that can work within three engines.
What Meteoria is
Meteoria SAS is based in Saint-Mandé, near Paris, according to its legal notice. Its vision page says it queries the main language models daily "from hundreds of strategic prompts", designed by product, persona, sector and geographic area, and then analyzes "the presence or absence of your brand, its position, the tone of speech, the sources used" and how you compare with competitors.
The product is organized in three steps on its site: Measure, Compare and Optimize. The homepage FAQ says data is hosted in Europe and that the platform suits major accounts, SEO agencies, media groups and international brands, as well as smaller and local businesses. As a category, it is an AI visibility tool: software that asks AI assistants a fixed set of questions and records what they say about brands.
Meteoria features, from its own pages
Prompts and segmentation. The Measure page describes custom prompts, "smart tags" to sort prompts by persona, product, region or theme, and CSV or Excel import for large prompt sets. The FAQ adds views by purchase intent and sector.
Metrics. The Compare page defines four brand metrics, each also shown for competitors:
- Visibility rate: the share of responses where your brand is mentioned.
- Average position: your relative position when the AI names several brands.
- Rate of mentions in sources: how often the AI uses content in which you are mentioned.
- Proprietary source rate: how often the AI uses your own content as a source.
Sentiment (positive, neutral, negative) is listed in the FAQ as part of every analysis.
The feature book. Meteoria's public feature book lists these modules: Dashboard, Detailed Responses, Tracked Queries, Query Fan-Out, Citations & Sources, ChatGPT Local Listings, Strategy, Opportunities, AI Competitors, Brand Awareness, Reddit and Specialized E-commerce. It also documents three integrations: AI crawler analytics, a Customer API and Looker Studio (Data Studio). Its demo dashboard shows a top-sources list by domain and a visibility rate for each AI.
Traffic and crawlers. The Measure page links AI performance to Google Analytics data, and the pricing table lists Google Analytics and Matomo on every plan. The AI crawler analytics guide explains how to forward request data from Cloudflare, Vercel, Nginx, WordPress and other stacks so the dashboard can show which AI crawlers and agents visit your pages.
Optimization. The Optimize page groups source types (media, forums, review sites, marketplaces and more) and gives content guidance. Its "Create content" section was marked "available soon" on October 15, 2026, while the pricing table lists "AI-friendly content" from the Pro plan.
API. The API documentation says the Customer API is in beta and "currently limited to Enterprise customers".
How Meteoria handles citations
Citations are where Meteoria's metric design is most specific, so they deserve a closer look. Meteoria splits sources into two rates. The rate of mentions in sources counts answers whose sources mention you, even when the source is a third-party page. The proprietary source rate counts answers that use your own content as a source. The demo dashboard then aggregates the domains that appear most often as sources.
That split is useful: an answer can rely on a review site that mentions you, or on your own page, and the two call for different work. Two questions remain for a buyer. First, the public pages show sources aggregated by domain; check in the Detailed Responses view whether you can see the exact URL each answer linked. Second, a source list shows which pages an answer displayed, not why the model chose them. Treat source data as observed evidence, not as proof of what an engine prefers.
For comparison, Prime AI Visibility reports Website cited (answers with at least one qualifying link to your tracked site) and Source links (individual citation links, from any site), and saves the links with each answer. Its metric definitions explain the denominators.
Meteoria pricing, plan by plan
These figures were read from Meteoria's English and French homepages on October 15, 2026. Every plan lists unlimited seats, countries, projects and brands, three engines chosen from seven, and the note that other models and specific support or integrations cost extra.
| Plan | Price | Daily prompts |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | €75/month | 25 |
| Pro | €175/month | 100 |
| Advanced | €420/month | 300 |
| Top tier | Quote | 200+ or 500+ |
What each tier adds:
- Starter: 25 credits, Google Analytics and Matomo.
- Pro: 100 credits and AI-friendly content.
- Advanced: 200 credits, a risk report, AI log analysis and Looker Studio.
- Top tier: Reddit, API, MCP and SSO, with tailored support.
The top tier is listed differently in the two languages. The English homepage calls it "Businesses & Agencies", from €300 a month with more than 200 daily prompts. The French homepage calls it "Enterprise", from €700 a month with 500 or more daily prompts. The homepage FAQ also says prices vary with prompt volume and support and invites a quote. If you are buying above Advanced, ask which offer applies before you sign. The pricing table also lists credits on every plan without saying on the homepage what they pay for, so ask that too.
Plan arithmetic: how each entry plan is metered
The two entry plans count usage in different units, so the figures below show how each one is metered. They are not a like-for-like monthly maximum or a cost-per-answer comparison, because the totals depend on the engines you pick and how often you recheck.
Meteoria Starter (€75/month). 25 daily prompts on three engines. If each prompt runs once a day on each selected engine, that would be 75 answers a day. That assumption needs confirming: the pricing table does not say how a daily prompt is counted across engines, or what the plan's 25 credits pay for.
Prime AI Visibility Starter ($69/month): one illustrative batch. The plan includes 200 credits a month and up to 25 saved questions. One question costs 1 credit in ChatGPT, 2 in Perplexity, 3 in Claude, 2 in Gemini and 2 in the AI Overview-style preview. A single batch of 25 questions across ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity costs 150 credits and returns up to 75 answers. That batch is an example, not the plan's monthly capacity: 50 credits remain for rechecks or other engines, and the monthly total changes with the engine mix you choose.
What the numbers mean. Meteoria meters prompts per day; Prime AI Visibility meters credits per month, spent per question and engine. If high-volume daily tracking is your deciding criterion, Meteoria's plans are built around it. The two products are built for different jobs. Meteoria is designed for daily tracking at volume. Prime AI Visibility, an AI Brand Visibility Tool, is designed for repeat checks of a smaller question set, monthly by default or weekly on paid plans, with every answer and link saved and a content workflow attached. Prices are in different currencies; we have not converted them.
Meteoria and Prime AI Visibility on the same criteria
The matrix below uses the same criterion for both products in each row, drawn from each company's own public pages on October 15, 2026.
| Criterion | Meteoria | Prime AI Visibility |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | €75/month | $69/month |
| Free option | 7-day trial | Flash, monthly |
| Engines | 3 of 7 | All five |
| Claude | Not yet | Included |
| Cadence | Daily | Monthly, weekly |
| Seats | Unlimited | 3 on Starter |
| Sentiment | Yes | No |
| Recommends | Not listed | Yes |
| Traffic data | GA, Matomo | No |
| API | Top tier | Not listed |
Notes on the matrix: Prime AI Visibility's five tools are ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and an AI Overview-style preview built from Google-grounded answers; Flash covers ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity only. "Recommends" means a metric that records whether an answer explicitly recommends the brand. Meteoria's average position and sentiment cover related ground, but its public pages do not list a recommendation metric under that name.
Methodology note: both columns describe what each vendor publishes as of October 15, 2026, not measured accuracy, answer quality or results. Plans and engine lists change, so confirm deciding rows with each vendor. Prime AI Visibility is our own product and is held to the same criteria, with the limitations below.
Track five signals separately
Whichever tool you choose, keep five signals in separate columns, because they answer different questions and often move independently:
- Mention: the answer names your brand. Meteoria reports it as visibility rate; Prime AI Visibility as Brand named.
- Citation: the answer links your site or a source about you. Meteoria splits it into two source rates; Prime AI Visibility reports Website cited and Source links.
- Recommendation: the answer suggests you over alternatives. Prime AI Visibility reports Explicit recommendation; with Meteoria, read sentiment and position, then check the answer text.
- Referral: someone clicked through to your site. Meteoria connects to Google Analytics and Matomo; with Prime AI Visibility, use your analytics.
- Conversion: that visit became a lead or sale. This lives in your analytics or CRM for both tools.
A strong visibility rate with no referrals, or referrals without mentions, is normal. Mixing these signals into one score hides that.
A 7-day Meteoria trial plan
Meteoria's one-week trial is short, so plan it before you start.
- Day 1: load 10 to 25 prompts that real buyers ask, tagged by product and persona. Pick the three engines your buyers use most, and note whether you need Claude.
- Day 2: open the detailed response for five prompts. Check that you can read the full answer and see the exact source URLs, not only domains.
- Day 3: pick one prompt where several brands are named and check how average position was assigned. Do the same for a prompt where the answer is a paragraph rather than a list.
- Days 4 to 6: compare the same prompts across days. Note which changes repeat and which look like normal variation.
- Day 7: export the data in CSV or JSON and confirm it holds what you need for reporting. Then ask sales four questions: how a daily prompt is counted across engines, what credits pay for, which top-tier offer applies to you, and what adding a fourth engine costs.
Run the same five questions through a free check in a second AI visibility checker during the same week, and compare the two sets of answers. The guide on how to choose an AI visibility tool covers the wider evaluation axes and trial design.
Who Meteoria fits, and who it may not
Likely fit:
- Agencies and multi-brand teams, because seats, projects and brands are unlimited on every plan.
- Teams that need many daily answers across products, personas and locations.
- Teams that want AI visibility next to Google Analytics, Matomo or Looker Studio data, or want to see AI crawler visits.
- European buyers who want data hosted in Europe, and French-language teams.
Weaker fit:
- Teams that need Claude now, or more than three engines without add-on costs.
- Buyers who need the API or SSO but not the top tier's volume.
- Teams that need a published price above Advanced.

Where Prime AI Visibility fits
Prime AI Visibility is an AI visibility tracker for teams that want to ask a smaller set of saved buyer questions in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and an AI Overview-style preview, then read every saved answer with the links it showed. Checks are monthly by default; paid plans add weekly, temporary daily and on-demand checks.
Beyond tracking, the Prime AI Visibility features include an AI Search Predictor that finds questions worth pursuing and a Content Studio that drafts source-enriched pages. Flash is free each calendar month for up to five questions across ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity, with up to 15 answers and no card. Starter is $69 a month for all five tools; the pricing page lists every plan and credit cost.
Limitations: Prime AI Visibility's plans are sized for a smaller saved question set checked monthly or weekly, so it is not built for the high-volume daily tracking Meteoria's plans are metered around. It does not report sentiment, position, traffic or conversions, and it does not let you target a country or city. Its Google option is an AI Overview-style preview, not a capture of the live AI Overview panel, and it does not cover AI Mode.
Getting the work done after the review
A tool tells you where you stand; the content, source and PR work is a separate job. If you want an AI Visibility Platform and an in-house team, start with the trial plan above. If you need people to do the work, Percepture, founded in 2004 and Inc. 5000-recognized, offers generative engine optimization services alongside SEO, digital PR and PR. Prime AI Visibility has a commercial relationship with Percepture.
Teams with a large content backlog can also look at Pyra's AI agents for marketing and sales, which include human-approved content operations agents. Pyra's AI visibility case study describes an anonymized digital-infrastructure company with more than 35 years in business and reports a 3,000% increase in AI and LLM visibility signals. That is Pyra's published client result, not a benchmark to expect.
Whichever path you take, an AI Search Visibility Platform or a spreadsheet should hold the same questions from one month to the next, so that changes are comparable.
Frequently asked questions
What are the Meteoria AI visibility tool features pricing details in 2026?
On October 15, 2026, Meteoria's homepage listed Starter at €75 a month for 25 daily prompts, Pro at €175 for 100, Advanced at €420 for 300, and a custom top tier, with three engines per plan chosen from seven, unlimited seats and two months free on annual plans. Features include daily tracking, visibility rate, average position, sentiment, source metrics, competitor comparison and Google Analytics and Matomo connections.
Which AI engines does Meteoria track?
Each plan tracks three engines chosen from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overview, Gemini, Grok, Google AI Mode and Microsoft Copilot, and other models cost extra. The homepage FAQ says Claude and Meta AI will be integrated gradually, so Claude was not in the selectable list on October 15, 2026.
Does Meteoria show citations and sources?
Yes. Meteoria reports a rate of mentions in sources, for answers whose sources mention you, and a proprietary source rate, for answers that use your own content, and its feature book lists a Citations & Sources module. During a trial, check whether you can see the exact URL each answer linked, not only the domain.
Does Meteoria have a free trial?
Meteoria's homepage FAQ says a free trial with all functions is available for one week. Plan the week before you start, because seven days is enough for one prompt set and a few days of comparison, not for a month-over-month trend.
Is Meteoria or Prime AI Visibility the better choice?
Neither is better for every team. On published limits, Meteoria fits teams that want daily answers at volume, unlimited seats and analytics connections across three engines. Prime AI Visibility fits teams that want all five of its tools including Claude, saved answers with links, an explicit recommendation metric and a content workflow, at a smaller question volume.
How is Meteoria's average position calculated?
Meteoria's Compare page describes average position as your relative position when the AI cites several brands. Its public pages do not publish the full calculation, so check during a trial how a paragraph answer without a list is scored, and treat position as observed order rather than a stable ranking.
