This Rankshift review reads the vendor's public home and pricing pages in October 2026. Rankshift describes itself as an all-in-one AI search optimization platform for brands and agencies. Its pricing page lists four plans: Starter at €69 a month, Professional at €159, Business at €359, all billed annually, and a custom Enterprise plan. Every self-serve plan lists unlimited projects and unlimited seats.

No product was run for this review, and every feature statement below is the vendor's own. Prime AI Visibility publishes this site and sells a competing product, so it is described in its own section and is not ranked against Rankshift.

Rankshift review: the short version

  1. What it is. A tracking and optimization platform that lists visibility, citation, sentiment, crawler activity, content opportunities, a content brief generator and an AI content writer.
  2. What it costs. €69, €159 and €359 a month billed annually, then a custom plan. The pages read show no monthly-billing price and no dollar price for the annual plans, so those fields are Not verified.
  3. What it tracks. The home page names ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Gemini, AI Mode, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, Meta AI and Mistral.
  4. What it limits. Plans are capped by prompts per day and by a pool of credits, and credits are consumed by prompts, models and frequency.
  5. What to check. Read the saved answer behind every score, and ask how each metric is calculated.

What does Rankshift say it does?

The home page headline asks whether a brand is recommended in AI search. It lists three promises: see where you stand, see where competitors are winning, and get the actions to take. The page then walks through a set of modules.

Module on the page What the page says it does What to ask
Prompt tracking Monitors real user prompts and shows when models mention your brand Are prompts you write run as written?
AI visibility A visibility score and share of voice across platforms How is share of voice defined?
Citation analytics Which sources models cite in your niche Are links saved with each answer?
Agent analytics When AI crawlers read your pages How is it connected to your site?
Sentiment Whether models speak positively or negatively about a brand How is tone labelled?
Content opportunities Gaps where competitors are cited and you are not How are gaps found?
Action center A prioritised list of recommended actions What does "expected impact" rest on?
Content brief generator and AI content writer Briefs and drafts built around cited structures Who reviews a draft before it is published?

The page examples, such as a leaderboard and a sample action list, are product illustrations. They are not results from a real account, and this review does not treat them as evidence.

How much does Rankshift cost?

The pricing page lists plans in euros, with a currency switch and a monthly-or-annual toggle that offers a 10 percent saving on annual billing. The prices shown are the annual-billing prices.

Plan Price shown Prompts and credits listed
Starter €69 a month, billed annually 150 prompts a day, 9,500 credits
Professional €159 a month, billed annually 350 prompts a day, 22,000 credits
Business €359 a month, billed annually 850 prompts a day, 53,000 credits
Enterprise Custom Custom prompt tracking, SSO, SLA and a dedicated account manager

All self-serve plans list unlimited projects and seats, a daily or weekly prompt refresh, tracking of all models, the content brief generator and the AI content writer. The pricing table marks crawler analytics, the Looker Studio integration and MCP and API access as included on Professional and Business, but not Starter. Enterprise adds custom prompt tracking, training sessions, priority feature requests, beta access, SSO, an SLA and priority support. The home page lists a 30-day free trial with no credit card needed.

Credits are the part to model before you buy. The home page shows a calculator example in which models, check frequency and prompt count multiply into a monthly credit use, and the pricing page links to a credit calculator. Because the unit is a credit, not a prompt, the cost to cover your set depends on how many models you choose and how often they run. A "prompt per day" count is not the same as a "question tracked", so check which one the limit applies to.

Which AI models does Rankshift track?

The home page lists nine: ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Gemini, AI Mode, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, Meta AI and Mistral. A selector in the page example lets a team turn models on and off and set a check frequency from several times a day to weekly. The pages read do not explain how each model is queried, whether through an interface a user sees or an API, so ask. That matters because an answer from an API call can differ from the answer a person sees.

For Google surfaces, note that the page names both AI Overviews and AI Mode. Ask how each is captured and whether the saved answer is the one displayed to a searcher in a given market.

How far can a Rankshift review trust a sentiment score?

Rankshift lists a sentiment module and a sentiment figure beside each brand in its leaderboard example. A sentiment score summarises tone. It does not show whether a statement about your brand is accurate, how you are framed against a rival, or which source an answer relied on. Those are separate checks, and our guide to PromptSignal brand perception shows a hand-labelling method that applies to any tool's score.

Google's guidance on helpful content frames the standard from the reader's side: reliable, people-first content that leaves a person satisfied. It is guidance about pages and does not describe how any assistant or tool scores a brand.

How should a Rankshift review test the tool before you pay?

The listed trial makes a structured test practical. Treat a trial as a test of whether the tool's output matches what you can see yourself.

  1. Write ten questions your customers ask and freeze the wording.
  2. Ask each in the assistants you care about in a temporary chat, and save the full answers and links.
  3. Load the same questions into the trial and compare what it recorded.
  4. Check the credit use after a week against the calculator's estimate.
  5. Ask in writing how a mention, a citation and a sentiment label are defined.
  6. Repeat after a page change, since answers vary between runs.

An invented example of the record follows. The rows are not results from a real run.

Question type Your saved answer Tool output to compare
"Best tool for task Y" Brand listed second, rival list linked Position and linked source match?
"Is Brand X worth it?" Neutral tone, one outdated price Does sentiment flag the wrong fact?
"Brand X vs Brand Z" Positive tone, a dropped feature named Is the cited page recorded?

Keep five signals apart: mention, citation, recommendation, referral and conversion. A tool's visibility score can blend the first three, so ask for them separately. The AI visibility KPIs guide covers definitions.

Which teams does this Rankshift review say it suits?

This part of the Rankshift review is editorial judgement from the pages read, not a test.

  • An SEO or content team that wants tracking and drafting together. The listed content brief generator, content writer and action center sit beside the tracking modules.
  • An agency or multi-project team. Every self-serve plan lists unlimited projects and seats, so cost depends on prompts and credits, not on headcount.
  • A team that wants crawler visibility. The pricing table includes crawler analytics on Professional and Business, not Starter.
  • A technical team that wants data access. The pricing table includes the Looker Studio integration and MCP and API access on Professional and Business, not Starter.
  • A buyer who needs a dollar price. The pricing page shows euros, so confirm the price in your currency at checkout.

How does this site's own product answer the same questions?

The table below uses the same criteria for both products. The Rankshift column is the vendor's pages as read in October 2026, and the Prime column is from Prime's own pricing and features pages. Capacity units differ, so the table compares structure and does not rank either product.

Criterion Rankshift This site's product
Target customer SEO and content managers, teams and agencies Brands, teams and agencies that want saved answers
AI systems Nine named ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity free; Gemini and an AI Overview-style preview on paid plans
Citation evidence Citation analytics listed Links each answer displayed are saved
Sentiment and crawler analytics Both listed Neither
Content workflow Brief generator and AI writer Content Studio
Free access 30-day trial listed Free check, no card, one a month

Prime AI Visibility works as an AI Visibility Platform for saved evidence. The free check runs up to five questions across ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity, keeps up to 15 answers with the links each displayed and needs no card. Starter is $69 a month and adds Gemini and an AI Overview-style preview. The Prime AI Visibility features page describes captured answers, brand named, website cited, recommendation, multi-model tracking and Content Studio, and these are separate measures.

It has no sentiment, crawler or traffic reporting, no managed service, no auto-publishing and no prompt volumes. If those are requirements, Rankshift lists several of them and Prime AI Visibility does not. As an AI visibility checker it gives a baseline, and as an AI visibility tracker it keeps the history. As an AI Brand Visibility Tool it puts saved answers first and leaves scoring to the reader. This is a disclosed affiliated view, not an independent ranking.

What can a vertical example show about tool checks?

Pulse Terminal is a public market-research and investment application. It sits in another field, so it works as an illustration of a vertical question set. Its homepage presents the product and its pricing page describes its plans. A team in a field like that would test any tool with questions in its own vocabulary, such as what a plan includes, and would read each saved answer for outdated plan details. Pulse Terminal is an illustrative public website, not a Prime AI Visibility client or paid partner.

When is implementation the next job?

If a trial shows pages missing from answers or linked sources that you do not own, the work is editorial and technical. Percepture, a company connected to Prime AI Visibility, covers AI visibility tools and measurement, and its generative engine optimization services cover the implementation. It is a services firm and not a tracker, so compare it with other providers on the same questions.
